Braun NL-955 Millinium Series Lift

The Millennium series is the true workhorse of the BraunAbility line. Designed for installation in the side or rear doors of domestic full-size vans, three standard models with platform lengths up to 51" ensure there is a lift to fit your needs. With dual hydraulic lifting arms, you'll come to rely on the lift's strength and dependability day after day, year after year.

The BraunAbility Millennium Series lifts are fully hydraulic in operation, for both the fold/unfold and up/down cycles. Lift operation is controlled by the standard hand-held control, the on-lift controls, or the optional remote control.

The Millennium Series is designed for installation in the side or rear doors of domestic full-size vans. To make your travels more enjoyable, each lift features BraunAbility's Quiet Ride™ system to ensure the quietest possible riding environment.

·        The Millennium Series platform offers 31" of usable width, with a choice of platform lengths: 43", 47" and 51".

·        For your safety, the hydraulic roll stop raises to the vertical position before the platform leaves the ground. Special sensors prevent the platform from raising if the roll stop is not fully engaged. The standard side-entry feature allows boarding of the platform even in tight parking situations.

·        The standard hand-held pendant controls all lift functions. For greater convenience, an optional remote control system is available.

·        The lift's switch arm features an up/down control, allowing the wheelchair user to control the lift while on the platform.

·        The dual hydraulic lift arms offer a secure and safe environment, with a lifting capacity of up to 750 pounds.

·        The compact hydraulic power pack features on-lift controls operating every function of the lift. For your peace-of-mind, a manual backup allows you to control the lift easily, even in the event of vehicle electrical failure.

Vangator Single Post Wheelchair Lift

The innovative Vangater at once solves the problem of wheelchair access and ambulatory entry with a power tri-folding platform. Over half the wheelchair accessible van's side door is available for easy ambulatory exit and entry when the handicapped lift is in the stowed position. But the touch of a button quickly unfolds the platform, revealing a fully functional wheelchair lift in a compact package.

The BraunAbility Vangater II Series wheelchair lifts are fully electric in operation, for both the fold/unfold and up/down cycles. Lift operation is controlled by the standard hand-held control, the on-lift controls, or the optional remote control.

The Vangater II Series is designed for installation in the side doors of domestic full-size vans to transform a standard full-size van into a wheelchair accessible van. A model is also available for installation in minivans, see your dealer for details. With the compact tri-fold platform, the lift occupies minimal space inside the vehicle.

A Vangater wheelchair lift can be installed in one of two width/length combinations- which you will require depends on whether you will be installing the lift in a full size wheelchair van or a minivan. To ensure the well-being of the wheelchair lift user, the Vangater wheelchair lift incorporates several safety features: an electric roll stop engages before the lift platform will rise from the ground, and a threshold sensor mat inside the wheelchair accessible van warns the user against exiting if the wheelchair lift is not level with the floor of the van.

·        The Vangater Series lifts for wheelchairs offers 30" of usable width, and two platform usable lengths of 43" and 47". (47" platform can only be used in vans with lowered floors).  This lift has a lifting capacity of 600 lbs.

·        For your safety, the spring-loaded roll stop raises to the vertical position before the platform leaves the ground.

·        With the lift for a wheelchair in the stowed position, over half of the van's side door is available for ambulatory use as well as cargo.

UVL Series Lift

The UVL, or Under Vehicle Lift®, offers an innovative solution to your personal mobility. With the mobility lift mounted underneath the vehicle, it remains out of sight and out of your way until needed.  This means easy access, a clear side view and maximum interior space—something your friends and family will appreciate on every trip.

The BraunAbility UVL Series mobility lifts are electric in operation for both the in/out cycle and the outboard roll stop. The up/down cycle is hydraulic in operation.  All functions are controlled by the standard hand-held control or the optional remote control.

The UVL Series is designed for installation at the side door of domestic full-size vans.  Installation of the UVL mobility lift requires modification to the van's drive shaft

·        The UVL Series offers two platforms with 31" of usable width, and 48" or 53" of usable length.  This lift has a lifting capacity of 750 lbs.

·        The automatic inboard roll stop serves as a bridge from the platform to the vehicle floor. As a safety feature, platform operation is prevented if the inboard roll stop is occupied.

·        The standard hand-held pendant controls all lift functions. For greater convenience, an optional remote control system is available.

·        The hydraulic power pack for these mobility lifts is mounted inside the vehicle, out of the elements. In the event of vehicle electrical failure, the UVL can be operated with the manual backup pump..

·        If the threshold warning plate is occupied when the lift platform is below vehicle floor level, lift operation will be prevented, and visual/audible warnings will alert passengers and attendants to unsafe conditions.

·        The aluminum under-vehicle storage compartment is weather-resistant to protect these mobility lifts from the elements.  Installation of the UVL requires modification to the van's drive shaft.

·        The dual lifting arms are activated hydraulically, providing a stable and strong lifting environment.

The Companion Seat is designed for installation in Chrysler, Ford and GM minivans. Using the original vehicle seat, the unique power base extends out the door twenty inches and tilts forward a full six inches to make boarding safe and easy. A hand-held control with a single toggle switch controls the automatic functions, allowing the passenger or an attendant to operate the seat.
